Challenge
BaxterStorey has made its mark in the Netherlands with rapid expansion. They've begun operations in some of the country's most modern office buildings, housing major corporations. In one of these newly opened office buildings where BaxterStorey operates, as many as 200 people enjoy lunch every weekday. Here, BaxterStorey aims to forge deeper connections with their guests, recognizing that a satisfying lunch greatly enhances the workday experience.

Solution
BaxterStorey and Kanpla have teamed up closely to tailor the Kanpla POS solution, refining the interface to better serve the building's kitchen team and guests. This collaboration has resulted in a seamless user experience for hundreds of lunch guests during peak hours. With our newest POS interface with smart tab layouts and intuitive designs, the kitchen staff has cut down their workload by 10 hours per week. This includes time previously spent on supporting checkout processes, menu planning, price management, and gaining insights from sales data. Moreover, the digital menus has enabled the kitchen staff to connect with their guests by communicating dishes and creating excitement.

With the advanced POS system and digital signage, Kanpla and BaxterStorey envision a future of streamlined operations and efficient back-office administration. This technology enhances collaboration with their office restaurants, and results in significant time-savings. The reduction in checkout time from 15 to 5 seconds delivers transformative benefits, notably reducing congestion in the office restaurant area. In the near future, a customer-facing app will be rolled out in order to communicate about menus, offers and valuable kitchen feedback.
